The Coolest BBQ Grills.

Why do we have kitchens inside? Especially when you can have a Lynx professional grill like the one above. No more smells, and you can just hose off the floor when you’re done. I love it.

Recipes to supersize your favourite snack

Pimp My Snack is a website devoted to recipes and photos of people who create jumbo sized versions of their favourite chocolate bar or snack. Tonight I’m making Wagon Wheels!… or at least a wheel.

How to cook with Lava!

You get wrecked on an Hawaiin Island… you’re hungry and you need to cook your dolphin steaks but you have no matches. Here’s a great site that will teach you how to cook with LAVA. It doesn’t show you how to catch dolphins but the lava cooking lessons are part of the Dolphin Bay Hotel.

Steve, don’t eat it!

One of my favourite internet sites is based around a guy called Steve, who has a section on his site called ‘Steve, Don’t Eat It!’… where he eats some of the most weirdest canned foods on the planet.

What we’re seeing above is called Cuitlacoche (kweet-lah-KOH-chay) which translates as ‘nose vomit’… well actually it’s a Mexican delicacy of corn that has been infected with a fungus. The taste?… just looking at it gives you a good idea how it’s going to taste.

Make boring books interesting…

Peter is starting to learn how to surf… the net that is. So like most sons with newbie parents I’m getting my fair share of tech support questions. So amidst all the pop-up, adware removal questions, Dad tells me about this great site that makes book covers that you wrap around some of your old hard covers and just leave lying around.

So you can leave your copy of ‘How to Overcome Nymphomania’ in your toilet with a bookmark in it and become a hero to your friends when they come to visit.

Remember we’re talking covers here, not books and I thought with Christmas coming up, you never know who might enjoy a copy of ‘How to Make Your Grandmother a Pornstar’.

small scale food scenes

It’s amazing what some time on your hands and a macro lens can create. Found this neat blot about architecture which also has some amazing photos of miniature figurines doing things to food… quite fascinating.

Soya sauce super hero fights foreign condiments

This is just so cool. Kikkomaso make soya sauce and have created this dumb animation and song showing their super hero/masocot fighting foreign condiments. I just love it and shows that advertising doesn’t have to be slick and glossy… and can contain some bad language- you’ve been warned.
